Just a quickie to show off my new beaters for my bodhran.  That's an irish drum for those not in the know.  I've been playing it regularly for about 3 months with the church band, getting pretty good with it I believe.

The play count has been reset, so I'll do this again after what I hope will be much, much better than the past couple years.  Got the band, an offer to join another band from one of the surgeons at work...2008 is gonna be great!  2007 sure wasn't heaven.  Sorry, best I could come up with off the top of my head.

I remastered podcast 1, the music from my dad's library, so the voice and music levels are even.  It's still kind of loud when I listened to it online, but it sounds fine on my iPod.  I dunno.  You can download it here.

Podcast 4 is finally here (again)!  I played with the volume levels a bit, couple of the songs were a little loud.  They should be played loud though, because this week I have amassed possibly the greatest 1 hour set of foot tappin', steering wheel drummin', car dancing songs ever assembled.  Play it on the way home after a crummy day of work and be cheered up by the time you get home!

I got a new microphone too, think it's a pretty good improvement over my other one, I sound a little clearer, and there's no "pop" when I stop recording voice.  I'm still the same old boring host though, the mic won't fix that.

Chose covers for my second podcast.  I've always been a big fan of covers, love to see songs interpreted in different styles, how some groups can really nail a cover, where others can ruin a song almost so badly that you never want to even hear the original again (hello, Madonna, American Pie?  ugh.).  So here's a sampling of covers from my library, hope you enjoy them.
